I’m a writer and narrative designer, yes. But I’m also a cat-wrangler, a coffee-chugger, and a hopeless optimist. I love hiking, concerts, tteokbokki, Daruma dolls, and explaining the etymology of words.

Q: Where are you from?
A: Duluth, Georgia. It’s outside of Atlanta. Decide for yourself if I have an accent, but I definitely say southern idioms unironically. (Favorite: “We can do it all with a shotgun and a prayer.”)
Q: Where did you go to college?
A: I graduated with a B.F.A. in Creative Writing from Emerson College in 2022. Please don’t hold it against me.
Q: What’s with the whole “can I buy you a coffee” thing?
A: What, do you prefer tea?
Coffee is my love language. As a professionally trained specialty coffee barista, I’ve seen firsthand how much a drink and a chat can foster camaraderie with a coworker or a soon-to-be-friend. Ideally, we’ll find an adorable café with dark, wooden walls and creaky tables. I’ll recommend the matcha because people raved about it online, you’ll ask me what I’m ordering, and then I’ll explain why I always order a cortado first when I’m trying out a café for the first time. See, doesn’t that sound nice? But don’t worry: Zoom and Discord work too, you’ll just need to BYOB.
